Alien craft vectoring in on us.

Krieger Starbase: It’s good to see some friendly faces out here.
Cerberus: We have company, Alpha One.
We expect you to protect us, Lieutenant.
Cerberus: Excellent! Alpha One, you are cleared. Spyder: you and Amazon board the shuttle and get us some supplies. Everyone else, fall in behind Casey.

Krieger G.16 – Tactical Reposition

ICIS: Friendly forces in this system report an immense blockade presence leading up to the Proxima jump point. We will eliminate the alien capital ships one by one. Our first step is a tactical re-positioning for Cerberus. Escort the cruiser along this route and defend against any hostiles.

Krieger U.00 – Carrier Assault One

ICIS: Alien fighter presence in this system is extremely heavy. Sweep this NAV route of all alien fighters. You will come across the alien carrier during this patrol. Eliminate the carrier’s turret defences in anticipation of a subsequent bomber strike.

Forces from Krieger base have reported their position and are en-route to the alien carrier as we speak.

Krieger S.05 – Reposition Battery

ICIS: Multi-stage assault tactics have proven effective against the alien blockade. We will attempt another multi-stage strike on a second alien starship in this system. The enemy vessel is positioned to block our path into Proxima and is most likely guarding more capital ships in and around a nearby jump point. To punch through this obstacle, Cerberus needs to be re-positioned. Provide cover for Cerberus along this NAV route.

Krieger K.88 – Turrets Swipe

Cerberus: All pilots report to the flight deck immediately. This is not a drill. Repeat: All pilots report to the flight deck.

Krieger P.76 – Path To Proxima

ICIS: Intel believes that the aliens are using the binary star system of Proxima to fuel a new wormhole device. Confed Science Division has deduced that this second wormhole in Proxima, once opened, will remain open until the stars’ energy has been depleted. We must reinforce the scattered Confed ships active in Proxima and eliminate the alien presence. Lead Cerberus along this NAV route to the Proxima jump point.

Cerberus: All right, people. Get us to the Proxima jump. We’ll be up against it… at least two fresh alien capital ships and enough fighters to keep us very, very busy. Cover our butts, Alpha One!
Zero: So, you were wrong about the alien two-suns thing in Proxima, huh?
Maestro: Look, I can’t keep up with all these new insect products, all their innovations.
Zero: If the wormhole gets built, it can stay built for a couple of million years since all the power comes from the star system. We won’t be able to reverse the effects.
Maestro: Yeah… but if we can own the Confed side of the hole, we can mine it, or put turrets all over it, and keep the aliens from controlling both sides. Maybe we could lob a few nukes at them.
Zero: You know, that’s the first idea of yours I’ve ever liked.
Maestro: I can’t thank you for that. That’s insulting…
Zero: You’re welcome.
Cerberus: Nice work, Alpha One. You’re clear to land.
